I supported the recall of all three former Board of Education members; each member was more focused on performative politics than our students. These members were not student outcome focused and we need all members on our Board of Education focused on improving student outcomes.

General questions
What needs to change with the Party?
I am focused on the role that SF DCCC plays in making endorsements for our local elections in our beautiful city. If I am elected, I will focus on finding common sense, competent candidates for our city, candidates who will offer practical and workable solutions to the city's problems, candidates who choose action over ideology. In fact, I have a new acronym for the DCCC: we deserve common sense competent candidates. Let's build this new DCCC together.
What are the top three issues facing San Francisco, and what would you like to see change?
I believe the three top issues facing San Francisco are public safety, access to a quality public education and access to housing. My volunteering is focused on finding a long-term solution to deal with substance abuse among our homeless population; abstinence-based treatment programs are the best path to help our most vulnerable within the homeless population. I personally believe tackling the homeless issue through treatment will lead to lower property crime and safer streets in the long run. I am an advocate for district policies who put students first. I also joined the board of the Lowell Alumni Association as a board director, officer and treasurer. Lastly, we also need to build more housing, specially building higher density units in transit corridors and more affordable housing units.
Tell us one thing you think needs to change in SF that the average voter wouldn't know about.
We need commission reform in San Francisco; we have too many commissions that dilutes responsibilities and leads to the lack of accountability.
