Support opening a new Whole Foods on Geary!

Whole Foods has been working to open a new location at the City Center on Geary Blvd. Their project is slated to be heard at the SF Planning Commission on Thursday, February 1st and we need your support.

The project will be a 50,449 square ft. grocery store located within the City Center. It will activate a chronically underutilized space made for retail to create increased healthy food access in the neighborhood as well as create jobs and provide a valuable revenue stream to support economic revitalization in the City.

Here's how you can help:

1. Email the Planning Commission

2. Give public comment on February 1

Attend the SF Planning Commission meeting on February 1 and show your support. Public comment can only be made in person.

• When: Thursday, February 1st. The meeting begins at 12pm.
• Where: City Hall, Room 400.

The meeting will begin at 12pm and this project is slated as item 14 on the agenda. Given the other items are not substantive we believe that item 14 will be heard within the first hour of the hearing.
